News GLOBAL FIGHT LEAGUE The GFL has started filming a docuseries that is chronicling the leagues formation. The series will feature 64 athletes from around the world, competing across eight weight categories with the winners receiving team contracts
The GFL was established to evolve and elevate the sport of mixed martial arts and its athletes. GFL is the sports first true professional league, wherein independent franchise owners with teams of athletes will compete in a structured and unbiased league format. The athletes will be classified as employees and will receive 50% of the leagues total revenues in addition to health insurance, guaranteed contracts and pension plans.
