In 1959, I visited Mono County, California for the first time. A lot has changed since my first visit, but much remained the same. By 2006, the internet, as we would recognize it today had been entrenched in popular culture for over a decade. Still, in Mono County and The West, few businesses had more than a simple webpage to speak about their commercial offerings.
