Moonlit Fell Pony Farm is located in Snohomish, Washington, up on top of Wagner Hill. We are the only Fell Pony breeder in Washington state. We are nestled on 5 acres, producing one to two foals per year. We are surrounded by the Cascade Mountains to the East, and the Olympic Mountains to the West. The name of our farm was derived from the feeling that I get from my Fell Ponies. The moon is mysterious, powerful, and peaceful. This is the reason for naming our farm, The Moonlit Fell Pony Farm. My goals
The Fell Pony:
The Fell Pony originated from Northern England, on the western side of the Pennine Hills. They are considered one of the nine native pony breeds to the United Kingdom. Their name comes from the large hills from where they reside. With a harsh climate and rough terrain, these ponies have become very hardy. These tough ponies are known for their versatility, ground covering trot, and intelligence. They are great as an all around family pony.
