Moonradio consists of Richard Aeilkema (vocals, guitar), Gerco Mons (rhythm guitar), Geert-Jan Mulder (keyboards), Eddie van der Veen (bass) and Otto Overeem (drums). As with sources of inspiration such as Nothing But Thieves and Radiohead, guitars, synthesizers and effects each play an equally important role. As a result, their indie songs are big and compelling at times, and small and mysterious at other times. But always full of meaning.
In 2020, the band's potential was noticed and Moonradio was invited to participate in the talent development program Hit The North.
