M. Selim Yavuz received his bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Sabancı University, and received his non-thesis master's degree in the field of historical musicology with his project on John Dowland and his religious oeuvre at Istanbul Technical University Center for Advanced Studies in Music (MIAM).
