Whilst Bike Week 2023 focussed primarily on Workplace cycling, this did not stop our Chair, John Arnold, and others helping the Surrey Hills AONB sign the “Puttenham Loop” route which was formally launched during Bike Week (more in the press release here ).
Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plan (LCWIP) - Whilst we understand Atkins have prepared their draft report for SCC and MVDC, progress on this has currently stalled whilst the issue of funding the feasibility study is addressed.
The Forum supports 20mph speed limits in built-up areas, as studies suggest that 20mph streets encourage more people to walk and cycle. For more information see this Sustrans article and the 20's Plenty Campaign
