MVV held public consultation events in January 2023, ahead of submitting a planning application to Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council for a facility that will treat non-recyclable waste as a resource by diverting it from landfill or export and using it as a resource.

Modern, well run and regulated Energy from Waste facilities pose no significant risk to public health.
