Originally from the Philadelphia area, Dr. Nathan graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University . He received his M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine , where he distinguished himself in the creative design and development of medical education software. He subsequently completed his residency at McLean Hospital , the nation’s premier psychiatric hospital and an affiliate of Harvard Medical School .
Dr. Nathan has served as the Director of Continuing Medical Education for Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) since 2008 and the Director of Professional Education for Princeton House Behavioral Health (PHBH) since 1999. He is board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology , and he remains involved in teaching as a Clinical Associate Professor at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) .
