It was a cool and windy day on Wednesday April 19th at Norwood Park for the County Waltz. The sun tried to make an appearance but the wind made conditions quite tricky. The greens were very good and the course was in great condition for the time of year. Norwood Park made us very welcome and helped enormously in the smooth running of the competition. We had 29 teams representing 15 Nottinghamshire clubs in our first competition of the season. A big thank you for your support in providing raffle prizes and buying raffle tickets ladies. Stanton on the Wolds had a very good day, winning 3 out of 4 prizes.
