Description: NCTVA seeks to provide consistent and high-quality Accreditation, Validation, Examination and Certification services in education and training.
The National Council for Technical Vocational and other Academic Awards (NCTVA) was established by Act No. 10 of October 2001 and became operational in January 2002. It was conceived to respond to the polytechnic and vocational aspirations of the 6334 educational system introduced in 1994.
NCTVA vision is to make quality assurance an outstanding feature in education and training in Sierra Leone, using self and external evaluation systems that are participatory, transparent, and objective in outlook nature.
