The National Energy Chamber was established as a key partner to policy makers in the energy sector of Bulgaria.The Chamber represents more that 50% of the privately owned installed capacity and almost 70% of the employed in the private energy sector.
The investments we made in the energy sector are over BGN 11 billion which is equal to 60% of all foreign direct investments between 2010 and 2016.
In the last 5 years we have paid into the state budget more than BGN 2 billion of taxes, which is 2.43% of the tax revenue collected for the period.
