Hi there, my name is Stephan. I’m a musician (trombonist) and web designer/developer based in Halle (Saale), Germany. Since 2006 I’ve been working as professional freelance web developer, and on this website I present some of my work. My aim is to provide the user a rich internet experience using modern techniques, with regard to functionality and accessibility to wide audiences.
A well designed website nowadays requires more elaborate concepts than ever before. There are many different ways to access the information; it needs to look good on large or small displays, it needs to function for users with visual impairments, for people with touch devices or classical mouse-based interaction, and it also needs to be accessible for other machines (e. g. search engines). All this goes into my work to provide users with an interface that is easy to use and understand.
