Previously, Nick Gauthier was a web freelancer, consultant, and trainer specializing in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript (especially Backbone.js and jQuery), and PostgreSQL. In 2011 he co-wrote Recipes with Backbone with Chris Strom and in 2012 he wrote Mobile Web Patterns with Backbone.js .
