While many of the artists connected with the Nichols Berg Gallery are from the Philadelphia area, several upcoming shows include artists from Boston, New York City and the Pacific Northwest. The studio will be offering workshops on printmaking, encaustics, painting and drawing as well as discussions and salons on various art and writing topics.
Gallery owners, Scott Nichols and Steve Berg, along with their10 year old son Henry, recently moved to Philadelphia from Seattle and found that most homes did not have the potential for an art studio space large enough to accommodate a press, tables, drying racks and storage. So they opted to explore a separate studio space apart from their home.
