about curriculum vitae publications Hamish Nicholson I am a Doctoral Candidate at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), working in the Data-Intensive Applications and Systems laboratory with Prof. Anastasia Ailamaki . I am currently interested in efficiently using modern storage hardware to improve analytical processing.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking, hiking, collecting cameras, and tinkering with my home lab and network. I also occasionally help out with technical issues at WHRB where I was the chief engineer for two years as an undergrad.
