Lions Health Screening Unit The 62-foot-long, medically-equipped Lions Health Screening Unit (LHSU) travels throughout Washington and Northern Idaho to give free health screenings at schools, fairs, and other public events.
The Northwest Lions Foundation provides assistance to individuals throughout the Pacific Northwest who can not otherwise afford vision and hearing related medical care. The Foundation also provides health screening at no cost to school children and adults for the early detection of hearing and medical conditions with mobile health screening units that are operated by Lions Clubs throughout Washington and northern Idaho.
The Foundation partners with Lions clubs throughout Multiple District 19 of Lions Clubs International. It operates the Lions Health Screening Unit which provides health screenings at no cost to school children and adults to assist the early detection of health problems that could potentially result in the loss of vision or hearing if left untreated.
