NSCAP was able to assist a homeless family to move to a new apartment this month. A local mother and her five year old son became homeless when their lease was not renewed. The mother is a victim of domestic violence and is not receiving child support. Eventually the mother found employment and was able to find an apartment they could afford in Peabody, but she lacked the money to pay first and last month’s rent and security deposit.
