Description: WELCOME TO NWT BOXING & KICKBOXING We are NWT Boxing & Kickboxing. Our Mission is to organize, promote and develop interest and participation of amateur boxing and amateur kickboxing in the Northwest Territories.NWT Boxing & Kickboxing provides opportunities for individuals to participate at all levels of amateur boxing and kickboxing. We also help individual clubs
NWT Boxing & Kickboxing provides opportunities for individuals to participate at all levels of amateur boxing and kickboxing. We also help individual clubs develop their own programs with the guidance of the Territorial Sports Organization (TSO) and the National Coaches Certification Programs. Lastly we help develop coaches and officials through clinics and our athletes through development camps.
Tickets go on sale Friday, January 18th, 2023. In the North there’s nothing more important than fostering our local sports teams, specifically within our youth organizations. It is these sports groups that allow our Northern youth to have a health and fitness related lifestyle, while staying clear of crime and violence and progressing in education and employment. We will be hosting teams from the East and the (North)West in February as a fundraising event to send our amateur athletes to the WAKO National Ch
A Yellowknife kickboxing coach has led a team of Canadian youth athletes to the country's best finish. John Stanley said this was his first time coaching at a world championship event.
