We are fortunate in our Portobello Road location, with the cosmopolitan, international spread of our visitors, because they have shown us the great interest there is in the less obvious categories of clock, which have been made through the centuries. The regular mechanical impulse necessary for the measurement and recording of the passage of time has been diverted to an extraordinary range of captivating, amusing and always fascinating clocks.
Our attempts to satisfy the interest and demand for these more obscure timepieces has led us to focus particularly on these esoteric markets.
A customer once described Father Time as "The King of the Quirky Clocks" - and we are happy with that!
