The “Just a Piece of Freedom” mural was founded by Old Saybrook High School student, Nick Chacha. The mural represents the diversity of our students through heritage and talent as the Old Saybrook Public School system believes in offering its students the freedom to rise to be whatever they want to be. International mural artist Rafael Blanco worked with students to create an interactive art experience.

As part of our end-of-year report, we have created a video that highlights some of the progress being made at each of our schools toward achieving the highest aims of our strategic plan.
