3D Animation about the legendary Volvo Ocean Race and Brunels participating team with it's racing yacht.

The Volvo Ocean Race is on of the toughest sailing regattas in the world, where its participants are sent all around the globe. Brunel from the Netherlands was one of the participants and entrusted me with this CGI animation, that shows the racing yacht, the crew and the route of the race. The fluid simulation was by far the hardest challenge in this project and was done completely with the latest version of Phoenix FD. It’s always the small things that give you a headache when it comes to simulating fluids
