In 2003, Michael Combs had a serious heart problem and he clinically died and came back twice in three days. He was without oxygen long enough that he lost his memory, coming back more childlike and determined than ever.
The doctors told him he would not survive and there was nothing more they could do -- they gave up, but Michael didn't. It took two tenuous years to recover, but today he's in better health than he's been in years.
Most notably, he came back with a fervor to live his life with no regrets, and a passion for encouraging others to do the same.
