ONEVIOLIN is a new artist breaking boundaries between different music genres and preconceptions with his internationally new concept - making cover-versions from global hit-songs using sounds from only one violin . Everything from the drums to the melody is created entirely with the artist's violin.
The person behind ONEVIOLIN is Pekka Niemi, a 29 year old Finnish violinist who studied in London at the Royal College of Music , one of the worlds most prestigious conservatoires. Since a young age he has been working internationally as a violinist, songwriter and string producer. In 2019 he performed alongside the biggest band in Finland, JVG , at Ruisrock and Blockfest music festivals.
