Short Biography
Dr. Cobanli is the founder of OMC² Design Studios and Jury Coordinator of several high-calibre awards including but not limited to A’ Design Award and Competition , +Like Award and Museo del Design Premio d'Oro. Dr. Cobanli is the ideator of " Language Icon " that helped push multi-lingual internet in its early days, and is board member of five Italian innovation companies.
Formal Education and Research Dr. Cobanli holds a Ph.D. degree from Advance Design Department, Faculty of Design, Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy where he used to be a research fellow. Dr. Cobanli is also alumni of Department of Architecture, University of Bologna, Advanced Design Unit where he used to teach industrial design as a Professor. Dr. Cobanli also holds a Master of Science degree in Furniture Design, Faculty of Design, Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy and Bachelor of Science degree in Econ
