About Orion Orion tonguepan © is a steel tongue idiophone designed and handcrafted in Saint Petersburg.
Orion tonguepan has its own unique form and geometry. Like handpans and hangs, each tongue of our instrument has several harmonically tuned tones (3-7).
Besides this we apply multi-stage metal processing, that makes the tongues resonant and responsive in touch, and in general makes the sound of Orion clean and warm. The instrument has a rich sustain and a pleasant appearance, that distinguish it from all other instruments of such type.
