What is the difference between recreational and competitive soccer?
Recreational soccer emphasizes fitness, fun, skill, and camaraderie over game results. While winning is often more enjoyable than losing, the emphasis on winning should be limited to a leisure activity. Coaches in competitive soccer are typically licenced coaches who are paid by the club. A coaching licence is essential for all coaches.
