Back in 2001 when I was trying to figure out what exactly a mastering engineer does, I read Bobby Owsinski’s excellent book, “ The Mastering Engineer’s Handbook .” I pored over every word. It gave me a solid foundation for the craft of mastering and set me on the road to what I do now.
