About Patricia Starting out in her studio in Berlin in 1987, Patricia experimented with oil on canvas and wood. Installing a structure on the canvas before applying oil paint makes her work unique in every aspect. Although she had connections to the Berlin Academy of the Arts, Patricia is foremost a self-taught artist. Besides large format canvasses and wood board paintings, she discovered affection for wood and started restoring old furniture pieces. Some of the pieces were brought back to its natural beau
