I work as a research professor in the School of Telematics at the Universidad de Colima in Mexico. My research interests focus on Human-Computer Interaction, Smart Environments, and Intelligent Systems.
I am head of the Human-Computer Interaction Lab (IHCLab) . I am a Senior Member of the ACM and IEEE. I'm currently serving as President of the Mexican Association on Human-Computer Interaction (AMexIHC), and as Chair of the Mexican ACM SIGCHI Chapter (CHI-Mexico). I am a member of the Mexican Academy of Computing (AMexComp) and the Mexican Society of Computer Science (SMCC).
