You may have a propane camp stove or an indoor heater that runs on propane, kerosene, etc. But fuels used for these devices will eventually run out, even if you have a large store of it, as the crisis continues. In addition, depending on the type of catastrophic event that occurs, you may have to “bug out”, or leave your home for the relative safety of a more remote location.
