I saw Taylor Swift in Houston last weekend and I’m still reeling. I’m not the biggest Swiftie in the world, and musically/sonically it wasn’t like, the best show ever. But the production, atmosphere, and totality (and comprehensiveness, my goodness) of the experience added up to something pretty insane. One moment that I keep coming back to is the show’s intro into Cruel Summer. Don’t watch it if you’re planning on seeing her on this tour. There are new albums from The National and Indigo De Souza that I want to dig into, but I can’t give them the attention they deserve right now.
