T-Mobile have scored big time with their new Welcome Back campaign (even though we’ll all call it ‘Welcome Home’).

If you haven’t seen it yet keep some hankies at the ready as you’re sure to blub at the end. But what really impressed me is the way they’ve integrated Facebook into the plot. This morning at 9am (about 12 hours after the ad first aired on Channel 4) they had around 2,000 ‘likes’. Another 12 hours on and they have over 8,000 ‘likes’ and over 150,000 views on YouTube.

The 3 minute advert mixes professional singers with unsuspecting public at the Arrival Hall of Heathrow Terminal 5. The whole ad was shot on Wednesday this week.
