It was a high standard of tipping this week. Well done to Annie who got all 9, followed by Judith, Dee, Matt, Huddo, Margot and Janet who all got 8. At the top of the ladder, Helen’s lead is back to 2 (see the ‘Ladder’ page on this blog).
That was a painful weekend for the South Australian sides. In the Port game, you could sense in the first minute of the last quarter that Collingwood were going to run over them, which they did, with Port missing out on a clear free in front of goal in the last minute. As for the Crows, their kicking for goal was terrible but they were robbed too. It’s hard to see them making the finals now.
Next week begins on Friday night with Collingwood against Margot’s Blues at the MCG. Can Carlton keep their run going and stop the Collingwood juggernaut? Unlikely.
