Punjab Green Development Program is a World Bank funded program of worth US$ 273 Million. The share of World Bank and Government of the Punjab is US$ 200 Million and US$ 73 Million respectively. The key objectives of PGDP are (a) Strengthening Environmental Governance and (b) Promoting Green Investments. The Implementing Agencies of this program are Environment Department, Industries Department, Energy Department, Transport Department, Finance Department and P&D Department. The program contains 08 DLIs.
