2023 promises to be a busy year for The Philomel Singers.
Our first appearance will be at the Mid Somerset Festival when the choir will take part in the sacred music class with items by John Rutter and Bob Chilcott. For details see the Mid Somerset Festival website ( www.midsomersetfestival.org ).
Our summer concert this year, entitled A Summer Serenade , will be given in the glorious setting of Edington Priory Church on Saturday, 17th June when the choir will be joined by Holy Trinity School, Great Cheverell. Included in the programme will be a performance of Bob Chilcott’s very popular A Little Jazz Mass.
