The PhotoBookAthens is a growing collection and an ongoing project by HCP that promotes and showcase photobooks and books about photography.
To provide access to our photobook archive via the Internet, we have recently catalogued and digitised over 1200 publications donated by those who participated in the past four editions of the Athens Photo Festival. We will keep adding to it the full catalogue of the submitted photobooks and new arrivals.
In recognition of the increasing importance of the photo book in contemporary photographic practices, the PhotoBookAthens brings a collection of publications around photography, from an exhibition at the Benaki Museum to online features.
