Piazza was born out of my deeply personal struggle to get help when I was stuck as a shy student (one of few women in my Computer Science class).
I was the first girl from my town in North India to get into the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). And there, I was one of 3 girls studying computer science. Fast forward to pursuing my MBA at Stanford GSB ('10), I decided to make it my life’s mission to help other shy students in STEM subjects. I founded Piazza to enrich the educational experience of students and professors.
