As of May 8, 2023, there are no restrictions on any food items you wish to bring to Canada. That means you can bring your own eggs, chicken, beef, pork, vegetables and any other foods. Though you can pick-up watever you may need while in Canada. There is a nice Safeway grocery store you will be passing in Dryden, Ontario just 45 minutes before PAC basecamp. **Note that BAIT restrictions remain unchanged (see below)**
Due to the avian flu outbreak travelers from the United States into Ontario cannot bring poultry or eggs with them. You will need to purchase it on the Ontario side of the border. We will have eggs for sale at the lodge, and there is a nice Safeway grocery store you will be passing in Dryden Ontario just 45 minutes before PAC basecamp. You are still allowed to bring in beef, pork, vegetables and any other foods. As long as it is not poultry or eggs.
