When you see a piece of artwork, all you're looking at is the finished result--really only a still frame from the history of the piece. These paintings on wooden boards that I make are anything but "quick and easy", but the many steps involved make even the "canvases" artwork! Remember, if you're ever frustrated with the process: step back, remember that every hour gets you closer to the end, and throw in a toddler for some comic relief!
On November 17, BMW hosted a red carpet event at the Rosewall, unveiling the (incredible) 2016 7 Series. I was commissioned to create three pieces, which were sold that night in a silent auction. The artwork raised nearly $1,000 for the Nashville Rescue Mission. Very grateful to be part of such a special evening!
