Full Bodied with a long finish, nervous and fresh. The tanins are present but the wine is balanced and intense with notes of red fruit, spices, orange, chocolate and hazelnut. Brillant, intense color.
We acquired an old stone house surrounded by vineyards in 2011 and began renovations, replanting, revitalizing and re-trellising old vines. Conversion to be certified organic and construction of the winery began in January 2016.
After construction of the winery, we demolished an existing outbuilding and excavated into the hillside maximizing space for subterranean storage and giving us the capability to gravity feed our fermentation tanks.
