Post Fact Hack – Bringing back truth to discourse
The Oxford English Dictionary named “post-truth” as the word of the year for 2016.
This fact alone should be frightening. But everywhere we look, fact and fiction are quickly becoming blurred to the extent that many people have simply stopped listening. When this happens, how do we communicate? How de we assess the choices that will have real and profound impacts on our world?
A collaboration between the CineGlobe Film Festival at CERN , THE Port Association , Impact Hub Geneva , and the FIFDH (Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights) , the Post Fact Hack invites all those interested in evidence-based discourse to come together, the weekend of March 18/19, to brainstorm new ways to communicate in the post-truth world .
