Punehu Stream Cottage is a picturesque cottage set in 5 acres of land on a working lavender farm just a short distance south of Opunake in South Taranaki. It is part of the complex which is the Old Pihama Dairy factory. It is bounded on two sides by Punehu Stream, hence the name. The dairy factory has a rich history going back to 1897.
