My name is Patrick O'Melveny (he/him). I am a master's student at San Francisco State University, currently applying to Ph.D. programs in mathematics for the upcoming 2023 academic year.
My master's thesis under Dusty Ross is on a new proof of the log-concavity of characteristic polynomials of matroids. I am currently interested in the fields of combinatorics and algebraic geometry.
