Description: Raise the children is an international non profit organization focusing on empowering orphans with high potential to get quality education and mentorship. We aim to equip and mobilize a generation of orphaned youth in order to transform South Africa. We identify, provide scholarships and give mentorship to self-motivated orphans from rural and impoverished communities, from grade 8 to 12 at top schools.

Rural education remains under-resourced despite efforts made since South Africa's transition to democracy. Without quality education, young people from humble homes in rural areas cannot access knowledge and social capital required to create value in their communities.
Raise the Children International (RTC) empowers rural South African orphans through quality education to become thriving servant-leaders poised to transform their communities and country. We venture far to find young people with promise. We knock, and open a door of opportunity for them.
