Welcome to Western Maine's largest and oldest organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of our outdoor heritage.
The Rangeley Region Guide's and Sportsmen's Association (RRGSA) held their second Mooselookmeguntic Landlocked Salmon Derby on June 11-12. We had fewer boats but caught slightly more small salmon. All reported having a great time with terrific weather.
In addition to supporting the DIF&W plan for this fishery, we also offer a great opportunity for our biologists to take samples from hundreds of fish. They measure, weigh, sex, check for parasites, examine diet, and collect scales.
