Site Announcement: We are currently planning for a Site Shutdown for Planned Maintenance over the extended July 4 weekend to perform some long-delayed upgrades to the technical workings of the site. FL-Sen : Brevard School Board member Jennifer Jenkins (D) is still considering a run for Senate against Sen. Rick Scott (R). No major candidate has got in the race yet for Democrats-although ex-Rep. Alan Grayson (D) has filed to run.
NE-Sen(F) : Sen. Deb Fischer (R) has officially announced her plans to run for a third term. There had not been any real talk of her retiring, but she had not said for sure that she was running. No challengers in either the primary or general election have yet emerged for her seat.
