Antisemitism destroys lives, families, one’s sense of safety and security, and our democracy. It was the root cause of the attack on members of three congregations that prayed at Tree of Life on October 27, 2018 (10/27)—the deadliest antisemitic attack to date in the history of the United States.

The horror of 10/27 and the cross-section of people from down the street and across the country who reached out in the wake of the attack created an opportunity and an obligation to change things for the better. We will do so by creating a wholly reimagined Tree of Life.
