Description: Exploring the economic divide on the Upper West Side/Lincoln Square neighborhood in New York city.
Rich & PO is an interactive documentary that explores economic divides and intersections in one of the richest and most densely populated areas in the world: New York City .
Through a collection of photos, videos, and text-based content you can explore the city's quickly evolving Upper West Side/Lincoln Square neighborhood , where the lines between rich & poor are black & white and “middle class” is an increasingly grey concept.
The project was inspired by the announcement of a controversial “poor door” in one of the neighborhood's newest luxury building where multi-million dollar condo owners and low-income residents will collide—all in search of a better economic opportunity.
