Allow me to introduce myself. I grew up in Los Angeles, (San Fernando Valley). I moved to Seattle (Alki Point) and edited travel and health magazines. I moved to the east San Francisco Bay Area (Kensington, Albany, El Cerrito) and worked as an editor at the schools of Engineering and Public Health at the University of California, Berkeley. I taught Fourth and Fifth grades and Kindergarten in public elementary schools in the East Bay (Hayward, Richmond and El Cerrito). For eleven years, I lived on the B
Speaking literarily, I remember writing a story in sixth grade about a ghost in my bedroom closet. In college, I majored in English literature and journalism. In my work life, I have done many kinds of writing. And I have published short stories, novellas, novels, essays, nonfiction, a children's book, and a book on Buddhism for children.
I write to express what is in my mind, heart and soul, from my experience, insight, and imagination. I write to communicate. I write to connect. I hope to connect with you.
