Hello there! I am Roberta, a PhD Candidate in Political Science at the University of St. Gallen, a journalist, and a member of the Digital Trust Expert Group . My work centres on the societal challenges and opportunities presented by the emergence of digital technologies, with a particular interest in how society can leverage data-driven innovations for the common good.
Both my academic and journalistic work are driven by a desire to create a better informed society, and to move toward a fairer and more equitable (digital) future. For me, this means leveraging insights from different academic disciplines and approaches. I am currently a Researcher & Teaching Assistant at the School of Economics and Political Science (SEPS) at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. Prior to that, I was a visiting student researcher at the Center for the Study of Law and Society at UC Berkeley and a Visiting Researcher at Georgetown Law at Georgetown University.
